Frequently asked questions

Respuestas sobre Wine, NFB y Nebula Ecosystem.

Does the NFB price include the fermenter tank?

Yes. The published prices include the Nebula Fermentation® control system + Nebula OriginBlok® validation, hardware (60 liter Pilot Reactor in 304 stainless steel), firmware, software and FAT tests. The project is make to order with 50% advance payment. SAT testing, commissioning, on-site training and other capabilities are priced separately.

Can I use the same NFB for coffee, cocoa and wine?

Each unit is configured and optimized for a crop. Although the platform is the same, the parameters, sensors and algorithms are specific for coffee, cocoa or wine.

What happens if I don't have connectivity on the farm?

NFB saves data locally and syncs when there is WiFi/LTE connectivity. Offline mode ensures that no readings are lost.

How is the Nebula Score calculated?

It is an algorithmic metric from 0 to 100 based on parameter consistency, traceability, regulatory compliance and post-fermentation data.

Can I integrate NOB with my ERP or marketplace?

Yes. NOB Pro and Enterprise offer APIs and webhooks to integrate with SAP, NetSuite, Shopify, marketplaces and own systems.

Why does batch-to-batch variability reduce the final product's value?

When two batches from the same origin produce different profiles, the buyer cannot anticipate quality. NFB® captures continuous data to reduce that variability and protect the lot's value potential.

How does NFB® reduce dependence on manual experience?

Temperature, pH, ORP, CO₂ and dissolved oxygen sensors measure the process in real time, alert deviations and record every batch so decisions do not rely solely on intuition.

What does reproducibility mean in fermentation?

It means being able to repeat the conditions that produced an excellent batch, turn them into a protocol and apply them in future fermentations with more confidence.

How does OriginBlok® help me demonstrate origin?

OriginBlok® links GPS, fermentation parameters, weights and movements into an immutable QR certificate, turning the lot's story into verifiable evidence.

How does mass balance detect inconsistencies?

It compares incoming raw material against outgoing product, including tolerances for moisture/evaporation. If the difference exceeds the configured range, it flags an alert on the certificate.

Where should Nebula start?

At the nodes where fermentation is concentrated: farms that process at origin, processing stations, cooperatives with shared infrastructure, and specialized fermenters. One NFB® at the node can serve several producers.
